Greetings from Balyam!
As the stake holder in managing an institution, I must thank you for the faith you have reposed in us and giving us an opportunity to educate your precious child in the formative years. That is an enhanced responsibility and we‘ll surely try to live up to your expectations. The secret in education as we strongly believe is in respecting a child.
I will focus my view point on three key issues, which I believe will be crucial for policy-makers.
First, to start with, most of the schools are experiencing a rising tide in the demand for holistic education delivered with more professionalism. We are preparing our teachers by in house training to give the skill set appropriate for the context. We are confident that our teachers are better equipped to face the changes of educational policy.
Second, the growing desire for learner centered Education in school education is not surprising and it is attracting the parents and students as well. At a time when the Nation has largest youth power, empowering them by giving right foundation is a challenge and exciting too. We are following the State and National policies in reforms in education and implement them faithfully.
Third, addressing quality education challenge is not only a matter of increasing financial resources, it is much more a question of optimizing policy choices, of making their financial engineering more efficient, more strategic and growth oriented. Meeting this rapidly rising demand for better education is creating intense pressures to rise spending on education both in absolute terms and relative terms. I want you to reflect on these issues because I think they will be strategic in our quest to build better education systems. Only a better and more inclusive education can produce the sustainable, equitable development our societies are demanding and that we should strive to deliver. Let us stand ready to help in such endeavor. As Nelson Mandela said, the only tool that can change the world is education. I assure that we work for building a society where today’s child plays a pivotal role in tomorrow’s world.
